There are two types of websites, Static HTML (standard website package) and Dynamic HTML (dynamic website package). Both are high quality products but will deliver different outcomes down the road. Static websites are usually created for those that would need little to on further editing in a short period of time. In other words, a “Set it and Forget it” product. Edits can still be made to static websites; however, they will require a website designer to edit the base line code for any changes or updates later on.
Dynamic websites allow anyone with basic knowledge of typing on a computer to edit their website content. It allows the owner to log into their website backend and edit the content. This is also known as building a Content Management System, or CMS. Bluenotes Entertainment offers two types of CMS backends, Lite and Full. Our Lite CMS allows the owner to make basic edits to text and images without needing to know HTML code or to hire a web designer for basic edits. The Full CMS allows the owner to have complete control over their website by not only changing text or images but creating new pages, changing menu options, adding a blog, and more. If you know how to type in Microsoft Word, you’ll know how to edit a website page in no time. The full CMS requires a server that allows Database and PHP5.
